Saturday, Sep. 13 marks the statewide “Celebrate Your Museum” Day. Bring the family and celebrate the natural wonders of Utah and the world at the Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum where admission is always free. Festivities commence at 11:00 AM and run until 2:00 p.m.  There will be free prizes for children and a live animal show at 1:00 PM. Aside from the hundreds of animals already on display, the museum will be giving away prizes in an hourly drawing (11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM).

“Celebrate Your Museum” Day is sponsored by the Utah Office of Museum Services, the Utah Museums Association and the International Society of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Utah’s 250 museums are the guardians of the state’s natural, cultural and artistic heritage. This day is a celebration of the ways museums enrich our lives and our communities.
