Description:
In this show, students will learn:
- What an adaptation is and how adaptations help animals survive
- General adaptations of each of the five vertebrate classes
- Specific examples of adaptations by examining live and mounted animals and animal specimens (e. g. teeth or fur).
Curriclum Connection:
Fifth Grade, Standard 5, Objective 2 (Describe how some characteristics could give a species a survival adavantage in a particular environment)
